About the Organization

Pirganj (Thakurgaon) Kallan Somittee was founded by a coalition of Bangladeshi Americans from the Pirganj Upzilla of Thankurgaon, Bangladesh.  This organization was created to establish a network for the people of Pirganj who currently reside in the United States. The Pirganj Kallan Somittee also intends to provide a forum in which people from Pirganj have the ability to help other individuals also from Pirganj who reside in the United States in the case of difficulty. In addition, this organization also aims to help the poor residents of Pirganj Upzilla, including the ill and the struggling poor students.
